Write Your Own Political Poem
Choose an observation about political power to turn into a poem. Center your poem on an image, as Shelley does in "Ozymandias." Your poem does not have to be a sonnet or follow any of the other conventions that "Ozymandias" does, except that, like "Ozymandias," it should avoid overt lecture. Let your image convey your ideas to your reader.
