Interpret the Laws of Nature
Think about what would happen if certain "laws of nature" did not exist. In Chesterton's example, when if the fallen apple did not hit the ground? Use your creativity to draw, paint or sculpt an interpretation.
Star Gazing
Print out color maps of the galaxy, focusing on specific stars or planets if you wish. Think about them from the point of view that they are magical and rational, as Chesterton says. What sense of wonder do you feel?
Gardening
As discussed in Chapter Four, plant the seeds of various plants and watch them grow. Discuss what happens to the ones that do not grow. With a sense of wonder, what can you predict for the plants that do grow?
