Chapters 1, 2 and 3

• Cammie talks to Zach while ice skating with her best friend, Rebecca. They are all three trainee spies.

• Zach is looking for Joe Solomon, a fellow spy who has missed several appointments for making contact.

• Cammie wants to contact her mother, also a spy. Rebecca's parents call for Cammie to join them.

• Abe, Rebecca's father chats about the ravens in the Tower of London while Cammie feels there is something she is missing.

• She becomes aware that the communicator in Mr. Baxter's ear is issuing a warning.
• The lights go out and there is a rush of panicked tourists. Cammie has Mr. Baxter's hand but loses hold of it.

• She is pulled away by Joe Solomon who gets as far as the London Bridge before they are surrounded by both Baxters and others.

• They urge Solomon to let Cammie go and report to CIA headquarters where...
