Fan is a girl who left B-Mor. She was pleasing to look at. She was small and not quite five feet tall. She was also slim, which was perfect for her job in the tanks. She was a diver, whose job was to husband and nurture the fish that the community grew, ate, and sold.

Reg was a worker in the grow facility. He was tall and had the most beautiful skin. His skin was the color of a smooth river stone. His long arms could easily reach the inner sections of the grow facility to plan, pollinate, prune, and harvest. He was 19 and had younger friends with whom he would play soccer.

3. In Chapter 1, what happened to Reg?

One day toward the end of his shift, Reg was told to speak to the manager the day before his free day. He did not return to work the first workday of the week. When someone would go and see why Reg was not at work, his aunt would say that he was not there anymore. Several weeks passed, but no one knew where Reg went and why he was gone.
