Objective

The objective of this lesson is to examine things in the lives of Jack and Olive that they wish they could change, and what is revealed about regret. Both Jack and Olive look back on their lives and think of things that they would like to change. They both have regret about their lives.

Lesson

Class Discussion: What does Olive regret as she looks back at her life? What are some things that she might do differently? What does she remember about the way that Henry would try to get close to her at the end of his life? How do Jack and Oliver get one another thinking about the past and things they would like to change? What is revealed about regret?
