The objective of this lesson is to examine Olga's job as a wedding planner, and why details are so important. Olga is a wedding planner. Her job is to worry about all the details for a wedding.

Class Discussion: How did Olga become a wedding planner? How did she build her business? Based on what Olga says about weddings she has planned, what are some challenges she faces when planning weddings? How does Olga have to deal with seemingly innocuous statements or questions regarding the weddings she plans? How is there always something that the bride or her mother fixates on? Why is it important that Olga has a "reliable stable of vendors" (9)? How does using the same vendors ensure quality and weddings that proceed smoothly? Why are details so important in Olga's job as a wedding planner?
