• Ven was friends with sisters Yue and Vae, and they lived in the province of Lyvodia. Their area was made up of seven provinces.
• Many people in this time believed that spirits of the land and earth, kakuy, had wiped out humanity when humans had become too harmful and destructive to the earth.
• Ven, Vae, and Yue were playing in the forest one day when they saw a terrible fire.
