Class Discussion: Discuss the students' responses. What are your thoughts regarding the behavior of the various characters in this story?

Individual Activity: Research a dangerous storm. When and where did the storm hit? How did the people of the region react to the storm? How was the community affected by the storm?

Class Discussion: Have the students share their research. How do these storms compare to each other? How do the reactions of the communities and the affects of the storms compare? How do these communities compare to the one in "Storm?"
