Map

Create a map of the different locations discussed and share the maps in small groups. Students should create a final map of the locations from the book.

Journalist

Pretend that you are journalists living during the time of apartheid or during Mandela's win of the election in 1994. Write an article presenting some of the historical facts and share the article with the class. Students should discuss the significance of the event.
