1. Eve Dallas works as the only female homicide detective at the New York Police and Security Department. Have a class discussion to learn about her personal and professional lives. What is Eve's role as a cop? What is Dallas's rank? How long has Dallas been on the job? Who is Dallas's boss? Who are Dallas's subordinates? Is it difficult for Dallas to be the only woman in her division? Explain. How do the men in the unit treat Eve? Do they respect her? Do any of the cops have relationships outside of the department? Explain. Do you think Eve is a good cop?
