David Sedaris became an overnight hit upon reading his essay "SantaLand Diaries" on NPR. From 1992 until the present, he has been a regular contributor on NPR's "This American Life." Obtain a copy of the spoken-word version of "Naked" and allow students to listen and write about the differences between hearing Sedaris' written and audio versions of the compilation.
