Introducing People Of Significance

Each student will be assigned the role of someone of significance in My Journey to Lhasa. Then, in the role of that person, they are to introduce that individual to the class and provide a little more background they have learned when possible. While still in their role, they are then to introduce the next student portraying another character. This will continue until all students have introduced their assigned individuals.

Newspaper

Have students write an entry for a newspaper of that era as though they had just learned about the author's completion of her adventure into Lhasa.

Book Review

Each student is to write a review of Alexandra David-Neel's book. They are to approach this from the perspective of a publication of their choice or the Internet.
