1. Describe the old car that Ob sat in after May died.

After Mary died, Ob went and sat in an old Chevy that had been parked out by the doghouse. The car had been there so long that weeds had grown up all around it.

2. How did Summer feel about the love that Ob and Mary had?

Summer had never seen two people who loved one another so much. Watching the two of them and the way they cared for one another would sometimes make Summer cry.
