1) Library Research: Have students research the autobiography genre. What are the characteristics of an autobiography? What is the difference between a biography, a memoir and an autobiography? Why is "Me: Stories of My Life" considered an autobiography and not a memoir or biography? Have students write a short report on what makes "Me: Stories of My Life" An autobiography.
