It is important to understand the history and previous education of influential people in order to understand what motivated them to do what they do. The objective of this lesson is to explore motivation, specifically through Montessori's history both from her early education throughout her early career. Students will explore what motivated Montessori to choose non-traditional educational and career path for her time, as well as what motivated her to teach children
