Lesson 1 (from Crouch End, London, to One: Sorrow)
Objective
The objective of this lesson is to examine the point of view of the novel. The story is told from two points of view. The frame story from Susan Ryeland's perspective is told from a first-person point of view. The rest of the novel that takes place in 1955 is told from a third-person omniscient point of view.
