Hold a part for a solstice, equinox, meteor shower, eclipse, or some kind of astronomical event that Stargirl would have wanted to celebrate. Discuss why Stargirl would have found things like this so celebratory.

The Blob

Show the movie, The Blob for the class, and hold a fun discussion about why this city would have been so proud of this film.

Meditation

Stargirl loves to meditate. Give a short lesson on how to meditate, and have the students try this for a few days and record how this makes them feel.

April Fool's Day

Dootsie has her own way of celebrating April Fool's Day. Have the students try doing this for a few hours- giving gifts to everyone they see. Hold a discussion about how this made them feel.
