Draw A Character

Have students draw their interpretation of a character from the novel. Artistic ability is not important, but their drawings must reflect the narrator’s description to some extent. What kind of attire does Lolita wear? How do you envision H.H.’s character?

Film Adaptation

Take time to watch one of the film adaptations of the novel and complete a 1-2 page paper analyzing its similarities and differences from the novel.

News Article

Ask students to look in their local newspaper for an article that involves some aspect of the novel and bring it to class. They will present it in front of the class and explain why it relates to the novel.
