Front Cover.

Design a front cover for the book.

500 Words.

Condense the story into 500 words.

Names.

As a class make up names that you think could be included in the novel and put all the names in a hat. Each student should then pick out a name and use that name to develop a character. They should then pair up with another class mate and develop a short dialogue between their two characters.

Defense.

Study a crime from newspaper reports and write out a defense for the accused.

Guess the Character.
