· The upper panel depicts a high school dance in progress, with a screen showing the text of an email being drafted.
· The lower panel shows several characters in a restroom, conversing and applying or retouching makeup, and announces in the email text the protagonist’s name: “My name is Freddy Riley” (1).
· Page 2 presents six panels, the first of which focuses on Freddy and continues the text of the email.
· The second, third, and fourth panels track the bathroom conversation as the group—Freddy and her friends—finishes retouching makeup and makes to return to the dance in progress.
