Objective
The objective of this lesson is to examine Jahren's desire to become a scientist, and what was communicated about being a scientist. Jahren indicates that people thought to be a scientist one needed to know math, physics, or chemistry. She thought that was wrong. She believed that a scientist was someone who asked questions.
