Alternative Point of View

Jury's initial meeting with Helen is clearly written from Jury's point of view. Rewrite (for at least 2 pages) a section of your choosing in Chapter 1 from Helen's point of view. Be prepared to read your rewrite to the class and then answer questions, in character, about your interpretation of events.

Chapter Title Project

Each chapter in "Jerusalem Inn" reveals new and exciting details that add to the plot. Come up with an assigned title for each chapter that creates excitement and interest for the reader about what will happen.

Character Sketch Project

Draw a sketch of a key character from the play. It can be just of their face, or of their whole body. It can be in whichever medium you choose: pencil, paint, charcoal, etc. Be prepared to present your drawing to the class.
