• They arrive at their condominium, and the landlady, Mrs. Mavis, greets them awkwardly.

• She gives them a book of rules and a pool key.

• She tells them that if they lose the pool key, it will cost $50 to replace it.

• Zomorod’s father, Mohsen, tells Zomorod to read the rules and explain them to her...
