Gunvor's Cairn

According to legend, Gunvor was an evil woman. With the help of the spirit of Kolumkilli, she was able to kill many men. It is said her spirit still haunts the areas around Summerhouse and it is also said that the only way to appease her is to place a stone on her grave, or cairn when one passes by.

Summerhouse

This is the croft that Bjartur has worked so hard to own and maintain his independence on. His independence and his blind desire to keep this place up and running has lead to the death of many of his family members and his own downfall.

Rathsmyri

Also known as Myri for short this is the area where Jon the Bailiff lives and is considered much more affluent than the valleys surrounding Summerhouse and the farms around it.
