• When the Norsemen invaded the land, the Western sorcerers were forced to leave Iceland.
• Before they left, Kolumkilli cursed the Norsemen, swearing that they would never flourish in Iceland.
• A church was later built to honor Kolumkilli in Albogastathir on the Moor.
• This structure and the land around it was known to be haunted and cursed by all those who tried to farm there.
• One story of the curse impacted a couple who attempted to farm the land, a man...
