Objective

The idea of being a Master might be something students may think to be exciting as well as rewarding. Today's objective is to talk about the idea of being a Master, what it involves, and what problems it might bring up within the course of a Master's tenure.

Lesson

1. Have each student make a list of the things a Master would be required to do during their position as a Master.

2. In smaller groups, have students discuss whether they would like to be a Master of something in their life. Why or why not?

3. As a class, have the students discuss whether they think a Master needs to be a Master of all things, or of just one subject. Why or why not? What problems arise from becoming a Master? What might be the benefits?
