· The narrator, Sahar, describes her life at age 6.
· Sahar enjoyed playing football with the boys more than playing with dolls with Nasrin.
· Nasrin would get upset with Sahar for not wanting to play dolls with her and would pull her hair.
· Sahar fell in love with Nasrin when she told her that Sahar belongs to her.
· Back then, the girls did not wear headscarves and were not yet considered “whores of Babylon” (1).
· Sahar notes that Nasrin takes good care of her hair even though they cover it now, something Sahar finds pointless.
· Sahar wonders if people can tell that she is in love with Nasrin.
· When she was 6, Sahar told her mother that she wanted to marry Nasrin.
