Movie Adaptation
There are many adaptations of the Arthurian legend on film. One of which, for humor, is Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail. Allow students to watch one of these in class and write about the differences and similarities to Tennyson's adaptation.
Arthurian Feast
Students should prepare an "Arthurian Feast" and research foods which might be eaten in medieval England. Students may choose to do this on "costume day."
Web Page
Students may create a web page which details the characters of the novel. Students may choose images of actors, real people, historical images, etc. Students should ensure the privacy of the web page to prevent copyright infringement over any images.
Tournament Enactment
Students should be given an opportunity to act out one of the tournaments of the novel, perhaps using plastic swords or simply pantomiming the action. The crowd should watch as if they are...
