Who am I?
Have one student take on the role of a character of your choosing. Have the class ask questions that can be answered with a "yes" or "no." As students believe they know which character is being portrayed, have them write down that character's name on a piece of paper and hand it in. The first student with the correct name is the next to portray a character.
Dress it up
Have students dress up as any one of the characters.
Grow a window garden
Have students plant a few seeds in small, clear cups and watch the seeds grow. Arrange them on a shelf near a window and encourage students to participate in the arrangement for the best artistic display. Use the exercise to help students examine the sprouting and growing process and to evaluate which plants thrive in the environment.
