Costumes, please!

Pretend the novel is to be made into a film and you are the costume designer. Create costume designs for the characters of one or both of the storylines. Don't forget the rain gear, the INKlings and the beasts!

Have each student in the class paint a picture depicting the underground creatures. Be as creative as you can! Display the pictures as a class and vote on which you think is the scariest.

My Dreams are Sealed Inside

In Chapter 6, the Librarian explains to the narrator that the old dreams are sealed inside the unicorn skulls. Imagine for a moment that your dreams were sealed safely inside some object. What would the object be? And how could you retrieve them if you needed to? Write a short description of where your dreams might be sealed.
