"Graven Images" is a collection of three supernatural-themed stories by author Paul Fleischman and was awarded the Newbery Honor in 1983. Paul Fleischman (born 1952) is an American author of children's books and the son of children's author and fellow Newbery Medalist Sid Fleischman. In this lesson, students are introduced to the book and will research and discuss the career and works of author Paul Fleischman.
