You Can Quote Me On That
With the students, brainstorm a list of quotes from the book. Pick two students and ask them to conduct a normal conversation, but with the aim of fitting as many quote as possible into the conversation. Remember the conversation has to make sense. After they have finished choose two more students and continue until everyone has had their turn. The student that uses the most quotes wins the game.
Jigsaw.
In groups of three, draw a picture of one of the characters in the book. One you have finished cut the picture into jigsaw pieces. Each group then has to put their pieces in the middle of the room.
