Gods, Demons, and Others by R. K. Narayan is a collection of 15 short stories adapted from India's history and mythology and presented in their traditional setting. R. K. Narayan (1906 - 2001) was one of three leading figures of early Indian literature in English and is credited with bringing Indian literature in English to the rest of the world. In this lesson, students are introduced to the anthology and will research and discuss the author R. K. Narayan.
