Lesson

1) Class discussion: Review and discuss the theories for how animals arrive on the Galapagos Islands. What item of transportation did people believe animals took to the islands? Is there any physical evidence that supports this theory of transportation? What land mass was examined as a possible means for the animals to reach the Islands? Is there any physical evidence that supports this theory? What biblical explanation was given for how the animals arrived on the Islands? Explain.

2) Partner discussion: Discuss arguments found in the text that are against the theories proposed. Can you argue against any other proposed theory stated for the arrival of the animals on the Islands...
