Objective

t is important for students to be able to know the identity of the characters in the play. The objective of this lesson is to examine the characters in the play to solidify who the character in the play is and understand what each character represents.

Lesson

1. Class Discussion: Pass out the character list for the play. Discuss what the students think each character is like based upon the limited description provided with the text. Who is the character? What part do you think the character will play in the text? Do you think the character will be important? Why?

2. Small Group Research/Presentation: Assign each group one of the characters from the play. ave each group research and create a visual representation of what they believe the character looks like. Have them answer the following questions about their character: Who is your character? What part...
