1) Class Discussion: The introduction is written from the point of view of a character who announces that the story she is about to tell is not her story, therefore it will be told from the point of view of the main character. The narrator also says that she will include notes found in the main characters personal papers and journal. Discuss the choice of the writer to structure his novel this way. Discuss the pros and cons of having two distinct narrators within one novel. Discuss how the addition of notes and newspaper clippings might affect the development of the plot.
