The objective of this lesson is for students to explore the author’s background and personal interest in the subject matter reflected in the book. Prisca Dorcas Mojica Rodríguez is a Latinx activist, writer, and academic. She is the founder of Latina Rebels, a platform with over 350,000 followers.
