Objective

The aim of this lesson is to introduce the Firm.

Lesson

1. Class discussion. What is the structure of the Firm and why is it so interested in hiring lily white employees? Why does the Firm think Mitch is the perfect match for their company? How does the author suggest that the Firm may not be what it seems? Why do the students think Mitch does not question the Firm from the beginning?

2. Ask the students to choose one of the Firm's directors and examine his role within the company. Bring the students together and examine how they work together as a team.

3. Divide the students into two groups; Mitch and a Firm director. The Mitches need to think of questions they would like to ask the Firm about their company and the directors need to decide what exactly their firm is about. For example what kind...
