Objective
The objective of this lesson is to discuss Benjamin, and what is revealed about mother/child relationships. Benjamin was left at Fiela's back door when he was around three years old. She has raised him as her own since then.

Class Discussion: Who is Benjamin? Does he know he is adopted? Does that bother him? Is he treated differently than Fiela's other children? What is Benjamin's life like with Fiela's family? How does Fiela treat him? Has she treated him the same or better than her biological children? Does she spoil him? Why is Fiela so worried that she will lose him? Why is it odd for him to be raised by Fiela and her family? Does Benjamin take pride in being a Komoetie? What is revealed about mother/child relationships through Benjamin's life with Fiela and the Komoetie family?
