Homework: Have students write a report on the events of Pearl Harbor, including who was involved and what happened on the day that Pearl Harbor was attacked.

Watch a documentary on the Pearl Harbor attack by the Japanese. Have students write a response paper to the documentary.

Read first-hand accounts of individuals who experienced Pearl Harbor. Discuss with students what the day must have felt like for individuals in Hawaii and on the mainland. What would they have thought about the events if they were present?
