Objective
The purpose of this lesson is to analyze the relationship between Elsie and Blaise and understand how Olivia impacts this relationship.
In Dosas, Elsie and Blaise are married until Olivia enters their lives. After 5 years of marriage, Blaise leaves Elsie to be with Olivia. However, Danticat gives clues that the marriage was not perfect even before Olivia entered the picture.
