Introduction to the Author:
Tom Robbins (born July 22, 1936), the author of Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, is an American author known for his abstract, wild stories with strong social undercurrents, satirical bent and obscure details. Today's class will establish the purpose of learning about authors, research the author's other works, history, and unique style, and prepare group presentations on the information which relates to Even Cowgirls Get the Blues.
