Alternate Ending
Have students write a scene giving the play an alternate ending. What might they change? How might the message of the play be different?
Obituaries
Many of the characters in this play died, but the reader was not presented with an obituary. Choose one of the characters in the play who dies and write an obituary for him or her after their death, keeping in mind what the family and friends might have wanted to say in remembrance of their loved one.

Draw a picture of any two characters and at the bottom of the picture, include a few quotes which you feel best represent that character's personality.
