Lesson 1 (from Chapters 1-11)
Objective
The objective of this lesson is to discuss metaphors and similes and how they are used in Chapters 1-11. Metaphors and similes are figures of speech that are used to make comparisons between things. Metaphors seem to imply an equal comparison, while similes seem to imply a similarity between two things.
