Hunting
Choose an animal from the book and in pairs describe how you would hunt it. How and where would you track the animal down? What equipment would you need to take with you? What would you be careful of?
Animal Habitats
Choose an animal found in North America and write a fact sheet about how it lives. What age does it live to? What distinguishes it from other animals? What food does it eat?
Myth Destroyer
Pick a wild animal and without doing any research list all that you know about that animal. Swap your work with someone else's and tray and find which information is correct and which information is merely a myth.
Photographs
Choose a wild animal that you have easy access to, for example, a squirrel, and take as many photographs of that animal as you can, examining how they eat and live.
