Jules Verne

Have the students research this famous author and inspiration for Daughter of the Deep. The research should include when and where he was born and died, where he lived, what led him to write novels, his personality and interests, how popular his books were during his lifetime, and any other interesting information. They should share their findings in a short research paper.
