Dance Dance Dance is a novel by Japanese writer Haruki Murakami. The book is a sequel to Murakami's 1982 novel, A Wild Sheep Chase, although the plot lines are not closely related. Haruki Murakami is considered an important figure in postmodern literature, and the themes in Dance Dance Dance relate to loss and abandonment, as do many of Murakami's other novels. In this lesson, students are introduced to the novel. They will research and discuss the author, Haruki Murakami.
