Seeds

Hand out small packets of seeds for the students to plant at the beginning of the unit. Plant the seeds in small Styrofoam cups or egg cartons. Give students the responsibility of watering the seeds and monitoring their growth. At the end of the unit, have students write a short report about the experience of growing their own crop.
