1. Class Discussion: Why is Sam in Santa Barbara? How do you think he feels about being a Crow Indian? Does he seem to give it much thought in this section? Is he proud of his heritage? What changes has he made in his life to separate himself from his culture? What is his job? What is his lifestyle?
