Rewrite the book.

Divide the class into four groups and assign each group one of the book's four chapters. Each group's aim is to develop a short comic strip that summarizes the chapter.

And the Winner is...

Choose ten students to be the principal members of the class and ask them to imagine they are all competing for a sackful of money. Their task is to write a speech explaining why they deserve the money. After they have delivered their speeches, the other students should decide who they think deserves the money and the reasons why.
